2 accused in string of mail thefts
Two people have been arrested accused of stealing mail from people living in the Briargate and Rockrimmon neighborhoods, according to Colorado Springs police.
Police officers said they found two suspects parked at the 7-Eleven on the 4700 block of Centennial Boulevard Saturday morning.
Investigators said they found at least 63 pieces of stolen mail, as well as stolen driver’s licenses, medications and debit cards.
Police arrested Marie Low, 23, and Jake A. Cox, 27. The U.S. Postal inspector is assisting in the investigation.
