4-year-old falls from 2nd story window

A 4-year-old girl is recovering after falling from a 2nd story window at a Colorado Springs apartment complex.

The incident happened at the Pinnacle Apartments at 6380 Council Point on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 28, 2013.

A neighbor tells KRDO NewsChannel 13’s Jonathan Petramala that the girl fell about thirty feet onto the pavement below.

Police say that the girl was leaning against the screen of an open window when she fell.

Investigators are calling the fall an accident. The girl’s condition has not been released.
