Red Cross to hand out supplies to flood victims

People affected by the heavy rain and flooding in Teller and Western El Paso Counties can get help in the cleanup Saturday.

he Pikes Peak Red Cross will be distributing cleanup supplies, snacks and bottled water from 11 a.m. And 2 p.m. Saturday at the Joyland Falls Church Center, 10605 Green Mountain Falls Road in Green Mountain Falls.

Items being handed out include:

Clean up kits with mops, brooms, gloves and cleaning solution

Tarps

Rakes and shovels

Ice chests

Water and snacks
