Colorado Springs murder suspect arrested

Colorado Springs Police say they have arrested a woman wanted in connection to a July homicide.

Monica Marilyn Mayes, 28, was arrested at the Buffalo Lodge in Manitou Springs at 9 a.m. on August 22, 2013.

Police say the victim in this case is Andrew Aguilar, 24. Aguilar was found dead on the 200 block of University Drive in Colorado Springs on July 9, 2013.

Mayes is facing a charge of 2nd degree murder.
