Man accused of stealing 350+ items of women’s clothing, mostly underwear

Greeley police say they have recovered more than 350 items of women’s clothing, mostly underwear, from the home of a suspected underwear thief.

According to KMGH, the items were found when police executed a search warrant at the home of 39-year-old Joey Eugene Gallegos.

KMGH reports that police believe most of the items found in the home in the 1800 block of 30th Street in Greeley were stolen.

Police think there might be hundreds of victims who don’t realize what happened.

The investigation into Gallegos started on August 1 when he was accused of stealing underwear from the laundry room of an apartment complex near his house, KMGH reported.
