Elderly man convicted of child sex assault

A jury has convicted a Colorado Springs man of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.

Emmett Andrew Larsen, who was 77 at the time of his arrest, was also convicted of pattern: sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.

The victim in this case was a young girl.

Police say Larsen’s victim shared a home with him.

Larsen is scheduled to be sentenced on December 6, 2013.
