Colorado Springs shootings tied to gangs

Colorado Springs police say a string of shootings within a week last month has been tied to gangs.

Sgt. Josh Benner says there are now more than 1,000 gang members in the city.

According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, one neighborhood was the scene of three shooting incidents in four days in late July. Police say three people were wounded in the shootings.
