Serial bank robber suspect wanted by CSPD

Colorado Springs police have released two photographs that they hope will lead them to a serial bank robber.

The last robbery occurred on Monday, Aug. 12 around 2:30 p.m. at the ANB bank on Briargate Boulevard.

The suspect was described as a white man in his twenties who walked into the bank alone. He is at least 5 foot 7 inches tall but may be taller.

The man left the bank before police could arrive.

Robbery investigators said the man may also be responsible for four previous bank robberies at the Academy Bank on Briargate Boulevard.

If you have information about the man shown in the photographs call CSPD at (719) 444-7000 or Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers (719) 634-7867 (STOP.) You do not have to give your name and could earn a cash reward.
