Airman faces trial on sexual misconduct charges

A court-martial is scheduled for an Air Force airman accused of sexual misconduct.

The Air Force Academy says the military trial of Senior Airman Aaron C. Stubbs will start Tuesday.

Stubbs is assigned to a security squadron at the academy outside Colorado Springs and is not a student at the school.

Stubbs is charged with aggravated sexual contact and abusive sexual contact. The alleged victim was identified only as a female enlisted member of the Air Force.

An academy spokeswoman said the name of Stubbs’ attorney wasn’t immediately available.
