Crackdown on exploding targets in Colo. forests

A ban on exploding targets in the Rocky Mountain Forest Service area will soon be enforced.

That’s the word from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, which says it will join other agencies on Monday to announce the closure order.

Authorities say exploding targets that are being used at gun ranges are a major cause of wildfires.
