Bear makes off with Colo. dumpsters

He’s clearly hungrier than the average bear.

A bear in Colorado was recently caught on camera stealing restaurant dumpsters full of leftover food.

The owners of Edelweiss Restaurant in Colorado Springs say the dumpsters, when full, weigh about a half-ton each.

But that wasn’t a problem for this bear, who’s seen in the video dragging one of them about 50 feet from its usual spot behind the German restaurant.

No significant damage was reported.

Edelweiss owners say they hope chaining the dumpsters will put an end to the bear’s late-night snacks.
