Cops checking out possible live explosives

The Falcon substation of Colorado Springs Police near Academy Boulevard was evacuated as a precaution Tuesday at 2:20 p.m. It’s because a woman delivered two hand grenades to the facility. The two grenades are in her vehicle. She walked inside the substation and told officers that she had them and needed help.

The Bomb Squad is en route to determine if these are grenades are a threat. We’ll keep you up to speed on the search for answers.
