Man accused of throwing woman from moving car captured

A man accused of throwing a woman from a moving car was arrested Sunday night according to Pueblo Police.

A tipster told officers that Roy Gonzales was at a home in the 100 block of Arthur Street.

Police say they could see Gonzales through the window when they arrived at the home. They say Gonzales tried to run out of the back of the home, but by then officers had the house surrounded. Gonzales surrendered to police peacefully.

Gonzales was wanted for throwing a woman out of a moving vehicle and for allegedly stabbing a man. Both incidents happened on the morning of July 7. He was booked into jail on three warrants, two restraining order violations, and two bail bond condition violations.
