Patrol vehicle damaged during Pueblo pursuit

The Pueblo Police department says a robbery suspect led them on a wild chase through the city around 9:15 Wednesday night.

Police say they were searching for 44-year-old Roy Slagle, who was wanted for aggravated robbery and had a warrant for $100,000.

While searching in Pueblo’s east side, detectives came across a Ford F-350 truck being driven by Slagle. Police say the detectives tried to pull Slagle over, but he refused to stop.

Officers chased Slagle to the south side of town where he eventually pulled over. Slagle was arrested near the intersection of Mesa and Brown.

One police patrol vehicle was damaged during an attempt to end the pursuit.

Slagle was transported and booked into county jail on his warrant. He’s also facing charges related to the pursuit.
