Flash flood safety meeting scheduled

People who live along Fountain Creek are urged to attend a flash flood safety meeting next week.

The City of Colorado Springs Office of Emergency Management and El Paso County Emergency Services Division are hosting the meeting.

This meeting will address the potential impact on Fountain Creek identified in the Preliminary Flash Flood Risk Analysis for the Waldo Canyon Burn Scar. Online maps to determine flood risk are available here.

The meeting location is wheelchair and bus accessible. Residents who require public transportation are encouraged to use Mountain Metropolitan Transit route 3, stop 2.

6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
