Southbound I-25 is now open at 6th Street. It was closed because of an accident involving a bus from an assisted living center.

Police say two vehicles were involved, a white bus and a white Nissan. There were a total of five people riding in the two vehicles.

The bus is owned by the Primrose assisted living facility. Two elderly women who were on the bus were taken to the hospital. Police say that one of the women’s injuries are severe. A Primrose employee who was on the bus was also taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive as well.

The driver of the Nissan sedan refused to go to the hospital.
