Police seek help finding hit-and-run suspect

Pueblo Police are asking for the public’s help to find a hit-and-run suspect. The driver hit a 17-year-old girl Saturday night.

Police say the girl was crossing the Highway 50 Bypass when the car hit her. She suffered seriously bodily injuries and was taken to the hospital. Police say the girl was not in the crosswalk.

Witnesses described the suspect car as a 1982-1995 dark Chevy or GMC S-10. They believe the license plate starts with “720.” The vehicle should have severe damage to its front end.

Two older Hispanic men, between the ages of 50 to 60 years old, were believed to be in the car.

If you have any information about this crash, you are asked to call Pueblo Police at (719) 553-2502 or Crime Stoppers at (719) 542-STOP (7867).
