Police search for missing man

Colorado Springs Police are searching for a man who never returned home Monday.

Michael Portwood, 27, suffers from a brain injury, and lives at a care facility on the 1400 block of E. Fountain Blvd.

Portwood was last seen wearing blue jeans and a Denver Bronco’s T-shirt.

Colorado Springs Police released a photo of Portwood Tuesday, but his appearance has apparently changed significantly since the photo was taken.

Portwood is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and 155 pounds. He has a buzz cut, and his hair is currently blonde, according to police.

Police say Portwood did not take any personal items with him and has no identification. They think he may be trying to get to his home state of Georgia.
