Hepatitis warnings issued for Colorado smoothies

State health officials are warning smoothie drinkers in Colorado that they may have been exposed to Hepatitis A.

According to KMGH-TV, smoothies made for the Groovy Greens smoothie delivery service in Boulder and at the Sweet Pea Restaurant in Steamboat Springs may have contained a recently recalled Organic Antioxidant Blend frozen berry mix.

State officials say no Hepatitis cases have been tied to the two restaurants, but 22 cases have been identified in Colorado residents.

Sweet Pea Restaurant owner Katherine Zambrana said Thursday the items have been taken off the menu and no one has reported being sick. The Boulder distributor did not return a phone call seeking comment.
