Man arrested in connection with shooting outside Pueblo bar

Two people were arrested following a shooting in Pueblo early Friday.

Police were called to a bar in the 1100 block of South Prairie Avenue around 1:45 a.m.

When police arrived, they found a car in the parking lot with a bullet hole in it.

The man in the car told police that a man in a white car shot at him moments earlier.

Police quickly found the white car and arrested two people inside.

Police said 34-year-old Timothy Rino pulled the trigger. Rino is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

The other person, 34-year-old Sherrie Ortiz, is being described as an accomplice by police.

Ortiz is facing a charge of complicity to attempted first-degree murder.

The alleged victim in this case wasn’t hurt.
