Nude revelers greet return of tourist train

Riders are complaining after more than a dozen revelers kicked off the tourist season by welcoming passengers on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad with full and partial nudity.

The antics drew warnings, but no charges, from law enforcement following the incident May 25.

According to the Durango Herald, railroad general manager Paul Schranck called the incident an affront to the community.

The train company has reported similar incidents to the Durango Police Department, but they say it’s difficult to patrol.
