Poudre Canyon family gets surprise on their wildlife game camera

A family in Poudre Canyon, near Fort Collins, got a surprise on their game camera in May — a bear looking right into the camera lens.

“This bear was there at the camera for about 5 minutes,” wrote Jennifer Rogers. “It tripped the camera four times.”

Rogers said they got the camera for Christmas. Since then they’ve gotten video of deer, elk, coyotes and two different bobcats.

The bear showed up on the camera on May 22 at 7:10 a.m. Rogers said the camera recorded two videos of the bear up close. “We have really enjoyed watching the videos every week,” Rogers said.
