Fundraiser totals are in!

As of Wednesday, the final numbers are in for the Return the Favor Fundraiser. Southern Colorado raised $13,200 to give to the Food Bank in Oklahoma City. That money will go to tornado survivors in nearby Moore.

One dollar stretches to buy ten pounds of food. That $13,200 will go a long way to help people get new hope for the future. Southern Colorado’s Care and Share is a sister food bank to the one in Oklahoma City. Shannon Coker told me she’s ecstatic about the numbers are your help with this project.

Oklahoma helped us during the Waldo Canyon Wildfire. You played a huge role to return the favor.

Also, a big thanks to American Furniture Warehouse in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. They are good corporate neighbors to agree to be collection points for our fundraiser.
