Convicted killer’s execution delayed

Governor John Hickenlooper granted an indefinite reprieve for Aurora Chuck E. Cheese killer Nathan Dunlap Wednesday, citing doubts about the death penalty.

The governor says the reprieve is not clemency, and Dunlap could still face execution. The governor simply needs more time to consider the issue.

Dunlap has been on death row since being convicted of killing 4 people at the Denver area pizza restaurant in December of 1993.
