Security home fully engulfed in flames

The Security Fire Department battled a house fire on Monday afternoon. Firefighters at the scene said the home was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.

The home is located on North Dartmouth Street, near Grinnell Street and Fontaine Boulevard.

As of 2 p.m., the fire is under control. Scanner traffic indicated the roof of the home collapsed and the home is a total loss. There have been no reports of injuries at this time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
