1 dead after multi-vehicle crash in Colo. Springs

One woman was killed in a three-car crash in Colorado Springs Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the woman was driving a Suzuki Forenza northbound on Academy Boulevard and hit the rear of a Chevy van that was stopped at a red light at Galley Road. The van then hit another vehicle.

The woman was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. She has not been identified.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. It is unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash.
