Pipe bomb clears Fowler neighborhood

Several homes in Fowler were evacuated because of a pipe bomb Sunday afternoon.

It was discovered in the 800 block of 7th Street around 4 p.m.

Neighbors were asked to leave for about two and a half hours.

The Pueblo Police bomb squad safely detonated the device.

No one was injured.

Investigators said the pipe bomb may have been built by kids.
