House fire on Chimayo Dr. in Security

Firefighters knocked down a house fire on Chimayo Drive in Security Saturday night.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire within 10 minutes. They say the back of the home and the roof was on fire when they arrived.

Everyone inside the house was able to get out safely, and a pet was rescued from the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
