Suspicious death investigation

A body was found at a home in the 100 block of Judson Street in Widefield around 7:20 pm Wednesday night. Investigators said the case is still at a sensitive stage, and they cannot reveal any details at this time, including the gender of the victim.

A homeowner arrived at the location to find the front door opened and called 911. The body was found inside the home and the El Paso County Sheriff’s office confirms the death seems suspicious.
