Council worries about helicopter noise

Military helicopters may soon be flying over Pueblo.

Pueblo City Council discussed the pros and cons of letting Fort Caron helicopters train at the airport on Monday night. One of their concerns is noise.

Fort Carson is looking for a place to train while Butts Army Airfield is being rebuilt. Pueblo’s airport director wants test flights to gauge whether noise will be a factor before a decision is made.
