Police investigate late-night robbery

Colorado Springs police are investigating a robbery Tuesday night at the Sonic on 8th Street.

Police say a man was waiting on food at the drive-in when he was approached by two men. One of the men pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money, police said.

When the victim told the men he didn’t have any cash, one of them reached in and grabbed his cell phone. Police say the men ran away on foot.
