Police look for bank robber

The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for a man accused of robbing a bank on Tuesday afternoon.

The robbery happened at the Legacy Bank in the 1500 block of East Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard.

Police say that a white or Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s entered the bank and showed the bank teller a note that demanded cash. The man left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say that a weapon was not seen during the robbery. The bank is still open for business.

The man had brown hair and was about 5’9″ tall, police said. He had a thin to medium build, was wearing a dark-colored jacket and a knit cap. His car was a gray four-door sedan with an out-of-state license plate.
