Fort Carson solider accused in sexual assault case

A Fort Carson solider is arrested in Fremont County, accused of sexual assault, according to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators said John Allen Dupree, 27, is accused of sexually assaulting his 26-year old girlfriend twice on Nov. 23rd at her parents’ home in western Fremont County.

Officials said during one of the assaults, the couple’s infant son was placed in danger.

Dupree was arrested Dec. 13 by Fort Carson military police after sheriff’s deputies obtained an arrest warrant. He faces charges of domestic violence, sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact, false imprisonment, and child abuse.
