El Paso County Repulicans urge supporters to recycle signs

El Paso County Republican leaders are asking supporters to help them reuse and recycle signs now that the election is over.

They handed out about 10,000 signs during the election season and now they’re working to do what’s best for the environment.

Bill Roy, the executive director of the El Paso County Republican Party, said signs are being collected at their headquarters in Colorado Springs at 205 Sutton Lane.

He said signs will be sorted and ones that can be reused in the future will be kept.

Signs that cannot be reused will be recycled.

Roy said they’ve collected a large amount of signs.

Signs must be taken down 14 days after the election.
