Body found in Trinidad identified

A body found behind the Trinity Baptist Church near a drainage ditch, was that of a missing Trinidad man, according to our news partners at AroundTrinidad.com

According to a press release by the Trinidad Police Department, the body of Fred Joseph “Fritz” Kokjohn was found Monday morning around 10:44 a.m.

Kokjohn had been reported missing since Oct. 16, 2012.

Trinidad Police Chief Charles Glorioso would not comment on the death only saying that an autopsy will be performed and that the cause of death will be released when the investigation is complete.
