Man injured in home invasion

A 65-year-old man was assaulted during a home invasion on Tuesday morning.

The home invasion happened shortly before noon in the 3100 block of Michigan Avenue.

Colorado Springs Police say that at least one suspect forced his/her way into the home and hit the victim on the head. The victim was transported to the hospital as a precaution, officers said. Police believe that the victim’s son chased the suspects away.
