Single car wreck on I-25 sends one to the hospital

A single car wreck on Interstate 25 Sunday slowed traffic around Academy Boulevard on the south end of Colorado Springs.

KRDO Newschannel 13 received word from a viewer about the wreck. He said the left hand lane of southbound I-25 near exit 135 was inaccessible due to the wreck.

A spokeswoman for the state patrol said one person was sent to the hospital because of the rollover wreck but she did not have details on the extent of those injuries.

No word on what caused the wreck or if any charges are pending.
