Water main break closes westbound lanes of Garden of the Gods near Chestnut.

A water main break has closed westbound lanes of Garden of the Gods road west of Chestnut.

All west bound lanes, between Chestnut and Forge, are closed, according to Colorado Springs Utilities. It is hoped one lane will be open around 3:00 PM.

Westbound traffic is being diverted off Garden of the Gods Road at Chestnut.

Traffic exiting I-25 at Garden of the Gods was limited to go eastbound only, but traffic is now allowed to go westbound.
