Stabbing Outside Plato’s Closet

Colorado Springs Police were investigating a robbery and stabbing Saturday evening.

It happened at the Plato’s Closet second hand clothing store near Academy and Galley on the southeast side of town.

Police say a man got aggressive with a customer outside the store, when a good Samaritan tried to help. The aggressive man tackled the person trying to help, and stabbed him several times.

Police tell us the Samaritan was taken to hospital and is in surgery.

The attacker was arrested; no name has been given.
