Teller Co. Fire Latest Information

Woodland Park city leaders held a town hall Saturday afternoon.

As of Saturday afternoon, mandatory evacuations were lifted for most of Teller County including Woodland Park. All of that area is now under a Pre-Evacuation notice.

Many residents at the meeting expressed concern about their evacuated homes. Officials said that regular patrols were keeping evacuated areas as secure as possible.

Fire crews in Northeast Teller County saying they have started to get control of the fire in their area. There is a fire line from Rampart Range Road to County Line Road 305.
