Pre-Evacuation lifted for Tri-Lakes area

Tri-Lakes Emergency Services agencies lifted the pre-evacuation notice for the Tri-Lakes area Saturday night.

The notice was in effect for areas of the Town of Monument, the Town of Palmer Lake, as well as areas of unincorporated El Paso County, that lie west of I-25, north of the Air Force Academy, and south of County Line Road.

Officials asked that residents remain cognizant of the current fire situation and continue to monitor events as they unfold.
