Air Force Academy cadet dies on summer leave

An Air Force Academy cadet has died while on summer leave in Las Vegas.

The Air Force Academy says Cadet 2nd Class Yung C. Chin died. The Academy says the cause of death is under investigation.

“Our Air Force Academy family suffered a tragic loss this week,” said Academy Commandant of Cadets, Brig. Gen. Richard Clark. “We ask everyone to please keep Yung’s family, friends and wingmen in your thoughts and prayers.”

Cadet Chin was a biology major and member of the Class of 2014.
