Charges Not Yet Filed In Deadly Crash

District Attorney Bill Thiebaut has asked for more time to file charges against Gilbert Sanchez. He is the driver accused of causing a deadly car crash, while intoxicated, last week.

After the accident, Sanchez was arrested on several charges including vehicular homicide.

Sanchez has another court appearance on the 14.

Three teens from Alamosa were killed in the accident. There were also two girls from Roncalli Middle School in the truck with Sanchez. Both of those girls are in the hospital and are expected to recover.
