Shooting Tied To Home Invasion

Police are on the scene of a home invasion in Colorado Springs at the Mountain Country Estates.

Police said they were called to 155 South Academy around 9:15 p.m. Saturday on a home invasion. Minutes later that was changed to a shooting call.

When officers arrived they found one man with a gunshot wound, according to police. That man was taken to the hospital but his condition was not released.

Police said another man, believed to be the gunman, was detained.

The shooting was still under investigation.
