Pueblo Man Accused Of Having Sex With Teen

A Pueblo man was arrested on suspicion of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

Jose Jimenez, 21 was arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child and sexual assault on a child.

Police said the victim reported having sex with Jimenez about 20 times since late March.

The sex was consensual and the victim reported meeting Jimenez through a mutual acquaintance, according to an affidavit.

Police said the victim’s school notified them of the relationship.

Jimenez was being held in the Pueblo County jail on a $100,000 bond.
