UPDATE: Springs House Fire Under Control

Colorado Springs firefighters have knocked down a fire at a home.

Crews responded to the fire in the 1400 block of Delaware Dr. The home is near the intersection of Palmer Park Blvd. and Academy Blvd.

Fire crews at the scene say it is a two-story home and fire is showing on the outside of the home. Viewers tell KRDO NewsChannel 13 there was a lot of black smoke in the area.

The fire department tweeted that crews searched the inside of the home but did not find anyone inside. The fire was reported in the attic space.

Crews are remaining on scene to look for hidden fire.
