Airport Road Crash Not As Serious As Feared

A crash at Powers and Airport Wednesday turned out not to be as bad as it looked.

According to Colorado Springs Police Department, a woman was turning left when her vehicle was struck by another car. The woman was ejected out of the closed window. A third car was driving past and swerved to miss the woman lying on the ground. That car hit the original two cars in the accident.

Police say the woman has a possible broken ankle and maybe a minor head injury but is expected to be okay.
