Chase And Deadly Crash In Prowers County
A 17-year-old is dead after a chase and crash in Prowers County.
Troopers say at around 9:30 p.m. Monday a Granada police officer spotted a stolen Camaro near Holly.
Troopers say the Camaro sped off leading to a chase that reached more than 100 miles an hour.
Troopers tell us a 14-year-old from Lamar was driving when the Camaro lost control, slamming into two parked cars.
He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A 17-year-old passenger, also from Lamar was pronounced dead on the scene.
Both were wearing seatbelts; charges are pending.
