UPDATE: CSPD Links 4 Liquor Store Robberies

Colorado Springs Police say four liquor store robberies Thursday night were likely committed by the same person.

Police released a surveillance picture of the suspect taken at one of the stores.

Police want your help identifying the suspect. If you recognize the person in the picture police ask that you call them at 444-7000, or that you call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.

The first robbery happened just a little after 6:35, at Oddones Liquor Store on N Union Blvd.

The clerk said a tall man wearing a ninja-style hood came in wielding a pump action shotgun.

He fled in a grey or silver car, possibly an Eighties era Honda Civic Hatchback.

Police say there may have been other suspects in the car.

Over the next few hours, a suspect using a similar gun robbed several more stores, including: Bob’s Liquor on N El Paso St., Courthouse Liquors on Palmer Park and Platte Liquor on the 2300 block of Platte Avenue.

No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
