Car Crashes Into Family’s Vehicles, Fence
One Colorado Springs family received an unwanted Christmas surprise. They said someone crashed into their fence and two of their vehicles on Christmas morning.
Twinkling Christmas lights were replaced with blinking police lights Sunday morning in their front yard.
?This is what I got for Christmas,? said Lorie Estrada, as she stood near the broken tail lights of her black Yukon SUV.
Estrada said her husband was home when he heard a crash outside.
?A vehicle rammed into our fence, into my front of my yard,? said Estrada. ?And they did this to my vehicle. They just rammed into it.?
When she got home she called police, but couldn?t give them much to go on. Her husband only told police he saw a black car.
?By the time he came from downstairs, put his shoes on ran outside to jump in the truck to go follow the person he couldn’t find them,? said Estrada.
Police were left with more questions than answers. The Estrada family was left picking up the pieces. If anyone has information, they are asked to call Colorado Springs police.
